Pet Policy

A $25. non-refundable cleaning fee and a $100. refundable damage deposit (refundable deposit by personal check ONLY) per pet is required upon arrival. (Separate transactions, please, UPON ARRIVAL).

1. Animals should never be left unattended in the unit or in vehicles parked on the property.

2. Dogs should be on leashes at all times.

3. Excessive dog hair in units, resulting in many hours of additional cleaning or professional cleaning, is an on-going problem.  Complimentary sheets are available to cover furniture and bed coverings, if applicable. Additional cleaning fees could result in forfeiture of your refundable pet deposit.

4. Please be aware of lawn and garden areas that are communal.  (Dogs that mess with Kris' lawn or gardens will be in "big trouble"!)  The same courtesy, extended to our small community and the beach, would be greatly appreciated. (Remember that dog doo-doo is not biodegradable, unless your pet is on a strictly vegetarian diet.)

6. We want you and your pet to enjoy "your home away from home" and the natural splendors at your doorstep.  Avoid letting your pet drink salt water or eat raw fish. If the latter occurs, call a veterinarian immediately.
